Rostron Carlyle becomes signatory to Pro Bono Aspirational Target
As part of the firm's ongoing commitment to the community and its social responsibility, Rostron Carlyle has become a signatory to the National Pro-Bono Aspirational Target.
The National Pro Bono Resource Centre launched the National Pro Bono Aspirational Target (the Target) on 26 April 2007 and has signatories from a variety of individual solicitors, barristers, law firms and chambers of barristers.
As a signatory to the target, each of Rostron Carlyle's Lawyers has committed to do 35 hours of pro bono legal work per lawyer. Click here for a list of signatories to date.
According to Greg Rostron (Partner) the firm had always aspired to the highest possible community standards. "Becoming a signatory to the Pro-Bono Aspirational Target was a natural step for us".
Michael Kemp, the Partner responsible for administering the firm's pro bono policy said "the firm's policy allows its lawyers to act for community or charitable organisations that require legal assistance, where our skills set match, where an unusual cause of action exists or a precedent needs to be set". In this way, our lawyers are best able help the community.
If you have a matter that you would like to be considered by the firm to work on Pro Bono, then please contact Greg Rostron:
