Michael Stretton

Michael began at Rostron Carlyle Solicitors in February 2010. Since joining the firm, he has advised clients on a wide range of recovery actions, building and construction disputes as well as various commercial litigation matters.

During his time, Michael has acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants giving him a balanced view of the many issues involved in commercial litigation.

Prior to undertaking a career in the law, Michael was a marketing and communications co-ordinator, experienced in business development and brand management. He worked for a wide range of organisations encompassing national and international account sales, promotions coordination and business development.

Drawing from this previous experience, Michael takes a collaborative approach to dispute resolution and is focused on obtaining the best commercial outcome for the firm’s clients.

Nick Brown

Nick Brown Solicitor Nick commenced work at the firm in February 2011. He has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland. Prior to working at Rostron Carlyle, Nick was the General Manager of a Residential Construction Company. His previous experience gives him a level headed approach to all criminal matters. Katherine Skene

Trainee Solicitor

Katherine works in the commercial law practice, primarily dealing with insurance litigation. Prior to joining the firm in February 2011 she worked in Insurance Recoveries and State Government. She graduated with first class honours from her Bachelor of Laws at QUT.

Matthew Kleu

Matthew works with in the Insurance Litigation Team. He is a recent graduate of Queensland University of Technology receiving a Distinction in Business (Marketing) and Second Class Honour – Division A in Law

Shireen Omera

Trainee Solicitor

Shireen works in the Commercial Litigation Team under Paul Rojas. She commenced work with the firm in August 2010 whilst completing her Bachelor of Laws Degree. Prior to joining Rostron Carlyle Shireen worked as a Police officer in the Queensland Police Service and a Cabin Manager for an international airline.

Helena Redmond

Helena works in the Family Law team. She graduated from her Bachelor of Laws at QUT with Honours in 2011 and has been with the firm since September 2009. Helena also has a degree in music majoring on the cello.
