Social Networking provides organisations with unprecedented new opportunities for customer engagement and promotion. However it also presents new and largely untested legal risks associated with employee participation on Social Networking Sites (SNS)
For organisations participating on SNS, the risks cross laws relating to employment, media, technology, intellectual property, privacy, contract, torts and laws specific to industries and professional groups as enshrined in statute and case law.
This seminar will introduce participants to various risk minimisation strategies as well as benefits of having a Social Media Strategy encompassing Twitter, blogs, YouTube, Facebook and others.
