Professional background

Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Malcolm spent ten years starting and running software and online businesses in the travel, technology and media sectors. Prior to this he owned his own recruitment business specialising in the recruitment of mining professionals. His key achievements included:

 

Founding CEO of www.quickbeds.com which was sold to Flight Centre Limited
Lecturing part-time in eCommerce strategy at QUT's Graduate School of Business
Commercial Director of the online division of APN News and media
Director of eCommerce for Tourism Queensland/Sunlover Holidays


Prior to joining Rostron Carlyle he worked as a Solicitor practicising Corporate law at Minter Ellison and was a Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial and IT/IP sections of HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.
