Shan has extensive experience in Litigation, Debt Recovery, Insurance and Insolvency matters in all States of Australia and in all jurisdictions including the:

	Supreme Court;
	District Court;
	Magistrates Court;
	QCAT; and
	the Industrial Relations Tribunal.

 

Shan’s distinct approach is to commercially achieve the best result for the client, through the use of both Court proceedings and appropriate negotiations. This results in the client achieving a financially better, more certain and quicker result than those that might be secured by using Court proceedings alone.

Major legal projects

 

Shan was In-House Counsel for a Wall Street Trading House, setting up the trading floor in the London Stock Exchange Building for the purposes of trading NASDAQ and EASDAQ stock. She later transferred to New York, as In-House Counsel for the same Trading House, to complete a similar project as completed in London.
